Jocelyn’s path in the legal field began after graduating from the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City where she received her bachelor’s in law with honors, specializing in tax law. She practiced both corporate and tax law, advancing into tax litigation in the private and public sectors for more than seven years. Jocelyn then moved to the United States, having gone through her own immigration journey, she became fascinated by the complexities of the immigration system and wanted to pursue a career that would allow her to help others begin and succeed in their own immigration journeys. Jocelyn continues to help the immigrant community navigate the ever-changing immigration system alongside our experienced attorneys and legal professionals in our Removal Defense Department.
