Cynthia’s path in immigration began when she immigrated from Mexico to the United States at the age of 7. At an early age she experienced the emotional effects of the immigration processes. Immigration continued to affect her life which encouraged her to work with organizations in her community participating in immigration outreach. Cinthya is the first in her family to graduate college. Graduate of University of California, Berkeley she doubled majored in Political Science and Legal Studies. Cinthya is eager to continue helping undocumented communities, both through her role at ILOHB and her community service work.
