L1B Intracompany Transferee
The L1B inter-transferee visa allows foreign nationals with specialized
knowledge to move from home office in another country to a local
branch or subsidiary or affiliate in the US. For the purpose of aiding a US
branch imparting that specialized knowledge or helping the company
with that special skill of the individual.
The Process
- L1B applicant must have been employed with the company at least one year in the two years prior to filing.
- These applications are complicated and require an attorney ro file.
