Adelita Cifuentes
Adelita was born in Guatemala, where she completed her studies and graduated as a bilingual secretary. Inspired by her sister, a legal assistant at an immigration law office, she developed a deep interest in immigration law and supporting immigrant communities. Before joining ILOHB, she spent more than 24 years managing restaurants, where she witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by people from diverse nationalities and cultures in pursuit of a better life.
At the Law Offices of Hadley Bajramovic, Adelita contributes to both legal support and client services. She assists clients with Employment Authorization Documents (EAD), FBI fingerprinting, and background checks. Having once been in a similar situation herself, she understands the challenges immigrants face and is committed to offering guidance, security, and support.
Karla Zepeda
Karla’s path in immigration began when she obtained her bachelor’s degree in international relations. She has 10 years of experience working with the immigration community, having worked with the Government of Mexico, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and is an active member of Amnesty International. Karla currently serves as ILOHB’s Senior Legal Assistant for the Family department. Having been born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, her motivation is to always support the immigrant community.
Marisol Virrey
Marii Virreys’ immigration journey began with her experience as a paralegal, eventually leading her to manage the firm entirely. Over the course of 10 years, Marii gained expertise in a variety of legal areas, including criminal, civil, family, and immigration law. Marii’s valuable experience and extensive knowledge led her to join ILOHB as an Executive Assistant to Senior Attorney and CEO Hadley Bajramovic. In this pivotal role, Marii assists our attorneys on a daily basis by organizing and preparing them for their work.
Hansel Zambrano
Hansel’s deep personal connection to the immigration process, rooted in his family’s immigrant background, provides him with a unique perspective in his role as a technical writer at ILOHB. Concurrently pursuing a degree in English, Hansel relies on his background in writing assistance to ensure the best possible outcome for each client.
Ilse Romero
Ilse began her path in immigration as a legal assistant in our Humanitarian Department. Intrigued by the complexities of the Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases within her department, Ilse began her transition into our Removal Defense team where she now specializes in SIJS petitions. Ilse works in conjunction with several county courts in an effort to help aid an underserved immigrant community. Ilse has always had a passion for and hopes to continue, working with children in a field that allows her to positively impact younger generations.
Liliana Perez
Liliana’s path in immigration stems from being raised in Southern California. She is currently studying Psychology, in pursuit of a PhD in Neuropsychology. In her educational and career goals, Liliana’s main focus is to continue providing a sense of support and ally ship to those around her. Working in finance at ILOHB has opened the pathway for her to learn the many ways in which she can advocate for her community.
Yvette Perez
Yvette has a strong connection to the immigrant community, as daughter of immigrants she feels a special connection to the community she serves. This desire was only strengthened, having dedicated two decades of her professional career as executive director of multiple non-profit organizations. As ILOHB’s office manager, Yvette is committed to bringing progressive ideas for the community that ILOHB serves.
Fabiola Sucely Padilla
Fabiola’s path in the immigration started when she moved to the United States at the age of 10 years old. Since then she understood the struggles of an immigrant. She graduated from the University of California Riverside with a degree in Spanish Literature, which has helped her to communicate with those struggling with a language barrier. She worked as an interpreter for more than 9 years obtaining experience in a variety of fields. She enjoys helping people and working in the immigration field helps her accomplish that goal.
Zayra Ivette Padilla
Zayra’s path in immigration began when she migrated from Guatemala to the United States at the age of 12. Immigration has always been part of her life, helping family members since she was young with applications for a multitude of processes. Zayra has directly experienced the difficult emotions of an immigration process, she was instrumental in her husband’s immigration process when he migrated from Guatemala to the United States, he is now a US citizen. Her family is a true living example of an immigrant family, having gone through what many families in this country have to go through. She considers herself to be truly blessed to be in a position in which she is able to help her community and to do so for more than eleven years, and she looks forward to many more!
Irene Muñoz-Smith
Irene’s immigration path began while writing her college thesis on Guatemalan migrants in Los Angeles. This led to her being hired by the Guatemalan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she assisted migrant families at their local office. Irene was later promoted to the diplomatic ranks, representing the Guatemalan Consulate in San Bernardino for over six years, continuing to serve the Guatemalan community. During this time, Irene met Hadley, who inspired her to study US immigration law. Irene’s diplomatic skills enabled her to interface with US authorities while advocating for the Guatemalan community. She now has 14 years of direct immigration experience. Irene currently serves as one of ILOHB’s case workers, driven by her passion to support immigrants regardless of origin.
Jonathan Martinez
Jonathan completed his undergraduate education at the University of California Riverside, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a focus on Administrative Studies. After which, he obtained a Paralegal Studies Certificate. Drawing from his own background as the child of immigrants, he is able to empathize with the challenges that immigrant families often face. Having witnessed the courage and determination of those seeking a better life in a new country has always inspired him. Jonathan hopes that through his role in ILOHB, he is able to gain practical experience within the legal field, with the ultimate goal of pursuing a Law Degree in the future.
Fernando Martinez
Fernando’s path in immigration began when he graduated from Victor Valley College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice. Coming from a first generation immigrant family originating from Mexico, Fernando witnessed the complex immigration legal system that is in place, and was motivated to work in a field that helps this community. Fernando now serves as one of our legal assistants under the family department. Working as part of ILOHB’s family department, Fernando assists with immigration petitions such as Military Parole in Place, Removal of Conditions, Fiancé Visas, and Adjustment of Status.
Johana Holm
Johana’s immigration journey started with a daring decision to leave her home country of Guatemala at a young age in search of new opportunities in America. For five formative years, she played an integral role at the Consulate of Guatemala in San Bernardino, using her talent in migrant assistance to aid other immigrants. Now serving as a legal assistant specializing in asylum cases and work permits, Johana channels her motivation into uplifting the immigrant community she knows so well. Despite challenges faced, Johana’s perseverance and dedication to her role at ILOHB epitomizes the tireless pursuit that defines the immigrant spirit.
Vanessa Cortez
Vanessa brings a distinctive style, focus, and determination to her work at Immigration Hadley Law Offices. Her experiences growing up in a mixed-status family and neighborhood, along with her background in diverse work settings, inspired her passion for helping others and understanding their perspectives. At Immigration Hadley Law Offices, she has grown from assisting with EADs, sales, and background checks to handling DACAs, Advance Parole, SIJS state court filings, and assisting with expungements. She incorporates patience, empathy, and communication into all of her casework. Vanessa is currently in school and working toward growing in the legal field, with the dream of ultimately becoming an attorney.

Hadley Bajramovic
Hadley Bajramovic is the founder and CEO of Hadley Bajramovic Immigration Law Offices, established in 2009. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Memphis with a BA in political science, geography and language, Hadley earned her Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Memphis and is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Tennessee. She is an established leader in the field of immigration law serving the local and international immigrant community since 2006. In addition to leading the firm, Hadley represented the Consulate of Mexico in San Bernardino for three years and the Consulate of Guatemala in San Bernardino from 2017-2022. Hadley has been recognized for her work by notable and respected elected officials including United States Congressmen Mark Takano and Pete Aguilar. Hadley also serves on immigration advisory boards for both Congressman Takano and Congressman Aguilar.
Hadley currently serves as Vice President of The Wyle Center for Children, Youth, and Families, serving Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Hadley is also a founding board member of the nonprofit VIA Immigration Advocacy Project which serves undocumented minors in Southern California.
